[bigletter]Marriages can be beautiful havens of peace or on the other hand, sources of unbearable conflict. Surely the Christian marriage is exempt; believers are instinctively alert to what it takes to make it work – or are they?[/bigletter]
In My Mother-In-Law 2, written and produced by Evangelist Gloria Bamiloye, the blurred perspective of a husband almost costs him his marriage. In ignorance, he lets his laptop become an instrument that separates him and his wife. He continues to justify his actions because he sees this from the wrong perspective. It takes the visit and counsel of a man of God to reset his point of view to God’s before he realizes his error: his obsession with and addiction to his laptop. Complicating matters, the way his wife relates with their children also becomes a tool of separation between her and her husband, contrary to God’s Word.
It is imperative for all believers – married or single – to be careful with their attitudes and perception. Little foxes can easily spoil the gardens of our lives if we continuously see things with our blurred and self-centered point of view.
My Mother-In-Law 2 does justice to its theme of marriage and is highly recommended.
