As drama ministers, God has called us into Kingdom business. In the movie “The Train” which most of us would have watched and seen how Daddy Mike Bamiloye was accused of not having a job, but he continued to serve the Lord who called him to do His work.
Brothers and sisters,
our work is Kingdom business.
Now, as drama ministers preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through drama, let us continue to write our scripts.
Title of the script: Kingdom Business.
Executive Producer: The Godhead (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
DOP: Holy Spirit.
Director: Jesus Christ – John 15:9, “I am the vine, you are the branches, he who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Assistant Director & Script Supervisor: Holy Spirit – John 14: 26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”
Script: The Word of God – The Bible.
Location: Your habitation, wherever you find yourself now, in Asia, Africa, Europe, etc.
Audience: Your church members, friends, and your communities.
At your rehearsal ground: What do you do? You meditate and memorize the Word of God. You pray. Psalm 119:11, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”
Protagonist: Jesus Christ.
Antagonist: The Devil.
Actors: You and I. Matthew 28: 18-19 (The Great Commission).
Qualities of a good actor: Matthew 16: 24, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ” If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
Costume Director: Your outer body.
Movie Distribution/Marketing: Your church, communities, social media, etc.
Goal: To win souls to the Kingdom of God.
Motivation: 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
The dividends of this business:
1. The 3rd Epistle of John Vs 2: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
2. John 14:3: ”and If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am there you may be also.”
The keynote in this Kingdom business is in 1 Peter 1:16 “Be holy, for I am holy.” Always consult the Production Coordinator.
Prayer: Fill me with Your Holy Spirit to do Your Kingdom business, in the name of Jesus.
