Isaiah 40:31
To soar means to mount up, ascend, lift, take off, increase, enlarge. To soar is associated in the Word of God with eagles. The eagle soars. It does not mess around with the chickens. The eagle is a champion! It does not run away from winds or storms, rather it flies into the storm and lifts on the winds of the storms. It is smart and precise. Take a closer look at what it means to SOAR.
Salvation
Faith in God. Do you know God? Does God know you? The Bible says seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness – Matt 6:33. Jesus is the only way.
Serve, Sow
Paul served faithfully. Isaac sowed and reaped in the land – Gen 26:12.
Serving as a drama minister can be done in different ways: back stage, operating the camera, etc. In whatever way the Lord enables you to serve, do so willingly. Sow your gift and talents.
Sacrifice
Sacrifice your time. Sacrifice can also be a broken heart before God. But remember, sacrifice does not replace obedience.
Obedience
Obedience is better than sacrifice. Obey God. Obey your leaders. Pray for a heart of obedience.
Oneness
How good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell in unity; it brings blessings, progress and enlargement – Ps 133.
Orderliness
God was systematic in His creation. Following instructions fosters orderliness.
They were all together in one accord – Acts 2:1.
Association
Partnership; together we will move faster and higher. Associate with the right people.
The trinity are partners. Jesus did not work alone. He had the disciples.
Attitude
Why are you a drama minister? Is it for ego or to serve the Lord? Always have an attitude of gratitude – Acts 2:46.
Availability
Are you available? Acts 2:42. Here I am, send me. Do you refuse tasks when called upon?
Righteous Living
Righteousness is the blood that flows in our spiritual veins. Do you harbor pride? Is your heart pure? Seek His face daily. Righteousness will make you soar – Psalm 92:12.
Refreshment
Importance of fellowship cannot be overemphasized. It is also important to attend refresher courses and teachings to stay relevant.
Rejoicing
Thanksgiving. Rejoice in the Lord always – Philippians 4:4.
But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint – Isaiah 40:31.
Will you soar?
