Welcome!
This edition aims to encourage us to dig in. Staying in God’s presence is more important than ever. Isaiah 60:2 told us ahead of time that the whole earth will be wrapped in darkness; that all peoples will sink deeper into darkness (Message Translation paraphrased). Those days are here. However, that same Scripture also told us that the time of increasing darkness would be the time when our light shines; when His glory breaks out over us.ÂThe key to partaking in this move of God is walking obediently with Him. The days of playing church are over. The days of bread-and-butter Christianity are gone. We can no longer afford to talk the talk and not walk the walk.Â
Walking the walk demands making the Lord our Shepherd as we see in Psalm 23 from where this edition’s Prophetic Declaration declares God’s blessings upon us. Our feature article, The Secret Place also emphasizes the need to dwell in God’s presence.Â
The harvest is ripe; laborers must wake up from slumber. This is when we get to partner with the King of kings and Lord of all the earth to bring the lost into the Kingdom. To do this effectively, we need to walk obediently with God, else it’ll be business as usual.Â
If we have not already started, this is the time to begin seeking God for Himself, not for blessings. Blessings, as important as they are, should not be our goal for seeking the Lord.Â
Moreover, walking with God is not the same as works or service. Works are good, service is fantastic, but fruit is what shows that we are truly walking with God. We cannot walk with God and live a life of disobedience to His will.Â
Talking about service, we begin a series on From the Mission Field, where we showcase drama ministers and their ministries. I hope this encourages you to pick up your pen, camera, and computer, and get to work. Also, please support these ministries as the Lord leads.Â
The Kingdom Catalyst team welcomes you to sit back, relax, and enjoy this edition.Â
Of course, join our team or contact us on how we can improve.Â
May God’s Kingdom come!Â
